Default My 1993 Toyota Pickup 5sp standred wont start why?
I turn on the key and push the clutch to the floor, I hear a clicking noise but wont do anything else What could it be?















i just replaced the battery and my husband says it still wont start, what else could it be that is causing it not to start?

Open up the hood an then try and start the truck; have someone to look and see if they can see what it is.

since you replaced the bat,















check the battery cables connections for corrosion and that they are tight. all of 'em. neg & pos. there could also be an issue with the solenoid on the starter. pulling that, starter/sol as a unit, and taking it to an auto parts store for testing is typically free.































there is also a starter relay in the box just off the battery. it maybe intermittent. letting go under load.

you said you just replace the battery did the vehicle start at the time when you replace the battery?















something is killing the battery of the terminals are slack but if your hearing a clicking sound its the battery of the starter
