Assuming the tyres have sufficient tread I see no real problem. You can of course increase traction by loading the boot with a couple of bags of grit. You could also acquire a couple of snow mats to pop under the rears if you do get stuck.
Get a second set or (cheap / steel) wheels and get some snow tyres for the winter, and then take it easy with the throttle. The weight being low is a bonus, as you have less inertia to send you sideways round corners and into a tree!
