IMHO, this is where you should take it to a reputable ASE shop or the dealer for diagnosis.
you talking about a no start condition, which can be a number of things, changing a fuel filter, but show reference info on changing a pump. there is a sock type screen/filter there even though it shows no info on it. but one would only address that filter if the pump ran/tested good externaly, but didn't have fuel flow.
this vehicle has "on board dignostics" OBD2. a shop or the dealer can help.
it may cost to have it scanned. but in the long run, it saves you money.
