Default 1997 Toyota Celica ST Power Window Cable Broke?
My driver side auto power window cable for my 1997 Toyota Celica ST broke and the window does not work. I went inside my door panel, wedge a piece of wood in it so the window would remain up. I was told that the cable is attached to a Regulator. I can hear the motor run but no window movement. Do I just replace the regular? Is the Regulator attached to the motor? How can I get this repaired at the cheapest lowest price without getting ripped-off....

i am in the same boat with a 92 camry. the entire regulator and motor are on amazon for $63. while your part looks very similar, they must use solid gold. it is $416. that wood block sounds attractive.
