Would you purchase a Toyota 4 Runner?

Default Would you purchase a Toyota 4 Runner?
I am seriously thinking of buying a new Toyota 4 Runner. I have had a car for the past 5 or 6 years and think i might like to go back to a SUV. I also live in New England so i think the 4WD will be very helpful in the winter months. I have liked the 4 Runner for awhile. It is not really good on gas but I think i can handle that if it is still a great vehicle.































If anyone that has owned a 4 Runner and has any opinions that would be great. If you didn't like the 4 Runner i would like to know that also.

I had one and it was garbage, but it was old and did not have four wheel drive

I have a 98 4runner sr5 and I love it. Its not great on gas but its fun to drive. Its been reliable so far. Only maintenance its needed is oil change and wash the air filter

Do you really NEED a big SUV or could you get by with something smaller and more fuel efficient? If I were in the market for a 4x4 right now, I'd look at something like the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, Ford Escape or even the Kia Sportage. All of these are a bit smaller than the 4-runner, but get better fuel mileage

Its a good choice for people who need an offroading SUV with 4wd.
