corolla brake light stays on in cold weather?

Default corolla brake light stays on in cold weather?
I have a 2008 Toyota Corolla. Whenever the temperature in the 20's or lower, the brake light stays on and kills my battery. I am not talking about the brake light on the dash board, I am talking about the actual brake light on the back of the car. Whenever I push on the brake pedal, it shuts off. However, whenever I shut the car door normally, it comes back on. The only way that I can shut it off is by pushing the brake pedal and then gently closing the door and pushing it all the way shut (not slamming it). I want to know why it is doing this and are there any parts that I can buy to fix it.

Is the bulb as far as you know making a good connection. If so sounds like you might have a short in the system. If that is the case you may want to take the car to your local repair shop.

Brake light switch needs adjustment or replacing. Perhaps the peddle is sticking when cold. I would take it to the stealership and complain.
