Default discharge warning light (battery icon) came on 1993 toyoya camry whats that mean?
Driving my car home last nite and my battery light came on (discharge warning light) it started today though fine what could be wrong with it im just afraid to drive afraid it will die

failed alternator or faulty regulator.































Yes the car will die if you continue to drive it.

Crank your car. Turn on the radio and A/C. let it sit for an hour or so. If the car dies. Its your alternator. If it doesn't you've wasted a few bucks in gas, and know that the light is just having electrical problems in itself and shouldn't worry about it.

Take it to a garage for a diagnostic. Most likely either a broken or slipping belt, a broken alternator or failing battery.
