Too much. It's extremely difficult to do, as the metal is thin, and cheap.

Getting a Resonator or Muffler welded on costs $50-100.































I went to a shop that charged me $100 to replace the resonator, which was a 5 minute job that required welding. Then they said $50 IF I pay cash and IF I did it that day.































Shops do not weld catyltic converters off. It is illegal for them to do that.
