my odometer rolled itself back?

Default my odometer rolled itself back?
so i recently noticed that my odometer apparently decided to roll itself back about 3,000-4,000 miles.. this is a car i just bought.. what should i do? lol it started going back up like normal but now i have no idea how many miles are really suppose to be on there, and i have no idea why it even happened?

Sooo...take it back to the dealer where you just bought it and let them deal with it.































Odometers are not supposed to be tampered with (not that you did) and are calibrated and set to government standards to ensure accuracy over the years so the next buyer of the vehicle knows "exactly" how many miles have been put on the car (this affects its value).

It sounds like it has been tampered with prior to the purchase of the vehicle contact the dealer
