car troubles 1993 toyota camry what wrong? wont start?

Default car troubles 1993 toyota camry what wrong? wont start?
Discharge light came on the other nite while driving i parked it. It started yesterday then i tried again & it wouldnt. The headlights come on so im thinking its not the batteries. When i turn the to the ignition it doesnt start.

could still be batteries even if lights turn on. to test it, charge.it by jumping from another car for about 10 mins and try again. if it starts then its a.battery or alternator prob. if it still doesn't start then its more likely a starter or cylinoid prob, both of those are cheap and easy to change yourself.

alt issue. maybe a belt issue or the alt itself.















discharge condition *may* on a marginal bat, effect the bat.































both the bat and the alt can be tested at most any auto parts store for free if you pull 'em.

a discharge light is on mainly because of the alternator is not charging the battery so the battery may be good and alternator is bad
