Default Is 190,000 miles alot for a 1996 toyota celica gt?
Im looking into getting a car I found a 1996 toyota celica gt with all leather interior power everything for a good price, its just it has 190,000 miles on it, im trying to get a car that will last me a couple to a few years, just wondering if that is alot of miles for the 2.2 engine

if its been taken care of and maintained like it is supposed to be.. then it should last you a while depending on how you drive it, conditions,and engine problems from previous owner

It would be just a flip of the coin as to how long it will last. You could drive it for a long time or it could crap out tomorrow. No one has any real way of knowing unless they can see into the future.

If you can get a good price and have a mechanic check it out then go for it, but even with it being a good car (Toyota's do last forever) things do break down, transmissions wear out, people push the limit on oil changes, belts wear out, water pumps fail, the list goes on have someone mechanically inclined inspect the car before hand if you can. GO TOYOTAS! Literally well taken care of Toyotas will go forever

If it was maintained well and if you maintain it properly and Baby it when driving, it should easily last another 2 years at least.
