Default 1999 toyota camry having start problems?
this mornin when i tried starting up my toyota it wouldnt crank over it still has electricty on the dash but the windows wouldnt roll down. also the doors wouldnt locl and unlock when i press the remote, can someone tell me whats causing this and how can i fix it? the toyota is a v6 and i just bought it 5 days ago















would the battery dying cause the car to shut off while driven as well? or is this cause by the alternator not charging the battery?

Battery. It might have a dead cell or a cell that is going bad.

This means your battery is ALMOST, ALMOST, ALMOST dead. The other stuff wont work, but the dash doesn't need mush electricity. I have no idea why this is happening to a new car. I thought they were reliable...

No battery dying will not cause the car to die while its being driven. A bad alternator would though. A bad alternator can take out a good battery, so in your case both may need to be replaced. Get a mechanic to do a charging system inspection, before you start throwing parts at it you may ot need. All of the symptoms described can be caused by corroded wires, bad ground, etc.

dead battery will not shut the car while its started..any lights on,engine light or battery light?i would need to see it,if in montreal area message me at daveart0@yahoo.ca
