Default How do I get my sunroof on my Sequoia Toyota to close?

I was on a camping trip and decided to open it. When I tried closing it, it simply wouldn't. It would move forward about an inch then bounce back. How do I fix it? Or at least how do I close it? Please help.

Check your manual. Usually there is a way to manually close a sunroof. In some cars you pop off the switch cover and there is screw to turn. Sometimes the tool is clipped to the fuse panel cover, or inside the sunroof switch cover.

Another option is to have some one hold the switch and your push it forward from the inside.

Carefully check for some debris in the tracks.

Also try to check the fuse. Look the manual, to locate the fuse. If it is bad then pull another fuse with the same amps, like say the rear window defroster or fog lights fuse, put it in the sunroof spot and try that.

Check the track for something stopping it, try pulling it with your hand as you hold the switch. Something is binding or the motors internal circuit breaker is possibly faulty. I would suspect it's binding on something in the track.
