Default My 2007 Corolla pas pedal doesn't work. Why?

Hi, So My check engine light just came on. "I have no reader to check" Was never on before. I haven't driven it in 2 days cause I was off work. I started up the car and it seemed like it had a little hesitation starting but did start. I was able to put it in Reverse and Neutral and Drive. But when I would shift the gears it would shift very very hard. Like I hit a wall every time. I am parked in my driveway so I put it in Reverse and backed out. I then put it into drive and once I hit the gas pedal. Nothing happen. No Rpm's, No movement, Nothing. I put the pedal all the way down and still nothing. Luckily my brakes still worked so I had to park it on the side curb.

I came online to see if people had issues like these but all I can find is people that have stick shifts. Mine is a Automatic. I did see people say "Try leaving it in park and hit the gas, See what happens" So I did, It goes up to the 1.5 meter for the RPM's on the left gadge. When I let go, It goes back to 1. I tried it in Neutral. Same issue. When I do it in drive. Nothing happens.

Before this I had no issues at all with the car besides my battery was a little low, But I know it is not the battery because my car starts, Nothing seems to want to die and had no issues before.

My car is a 2007 Toyota Corolla LE with 78,993miles on it. Any idea what might be happening?

Ok. So will they tow it their for me? I have coverage but not towing.

Your generation of Corolla has a throttle issue which has been popular among owners, ask he dealer for a 'recall'.
