Default Toyota Rav 4 front fog lights?

I have a 2000 Rav 4, 3 door, 1.8l.

Do I have to enable my front fog lights? I can't find a way to get them to work and have read that the 2004 edition needs to be all wired up.

Are they there for show or am I being stupid?!

Many thanks

You're being stupid. It is simply foolish to think that any manufacturer would spend 100 in parts for lights and not have them functional. Are you sure you actually HAVE fog lights??? They are only optional on many vehicles.

I would suggest that you consult your OWNER'S MANUAL if you are unclear on the basics of how to operate your vehicle. Failing that, consult your nearest dealership.

This might sound silly but do you know that you must have your Headlights On and Dipped or your Front Fog Lights will not turn On. Normally you have a Switch for the Rear Fog Lights (Will switch On anytime) and the switch for the Front ones next to it.

Check the Fuses as they may be on a Fuse for each or Both.
