Default I have a 2014 camry se 2.5 4 cyl. Exhaust?

I understand this car is not a race car but I'm doing little stuff to just make it look a little meaner to me I plasti dipped the rims and painted the calipers red smoked the taillights etc etc and now I want a meaner sound... I hear all these crazy ideas about drilling holes in the muffler? I want to do it the right way not some sketchy cheap way haha any ideas/advice? Thanks in advance

Change the muffler for a performance one. You can get tunable mufflers so that you can change the way it sounds i.e. raspy to deep burble. You can pick these up relatively cheaply. I wouldn't be drilling holes, not only will it sound bad, it will put carbon monoxide fumes inside the cab with you and potentially kill you. Putting on a K&N air filter also gives it a more meaty growl and lets the engine breath easier thus saving fuel and potentially boosting BHP by a small amount. If you can afford a full exhaust system this would be better as you will get better performance and sound that if you just changed the muffler alone.
