Default Knocking noise - sway bar?

I have a 2001 Toyota Celica. Just a few days ago a knocking noise started (like something is physically hitting, not a transmission knocking), seems like it happens when I hit bumps in the road, and also at times when coming to a stop and seemingly random turning, etc. 6 weeks ago I had a lot of work done on the car such as new brakes, new drive belt, and both sway bars & bushings replaced. My first thought is that this sounds like a sway bar or some other kind of suspension problem, but I just had the sways replaced and the car performed fine for 6 weeks.

Just wondering if it could be the new sway bars are bad or bad installation, and why it wouldn't start the knocking immediately when I picked the car up, instead of driving great for 6 weeks and then starting. Possible rack & pinion and this is just coincidence? Struts?

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, from a lady who knows a little about cars, but not enough!

I think that its your CV joints, because in most cases if a vehicle knocks when it hits bumbs or turn to a specific side eg:Maybe the vehicle only knocks when you turn to the left and not when you turn to the right.Thas a sign of faulty Constant Velocity Joints (CV JOINS) because the Stebaliser bar can only make those knocks only if its not properly fitted

Hi so it needs new bushes in the ends then it is possible they are available but with such an old car there is no way toyota could be expected to supply such an item on a car designed to last more than the 8 year life span.
